The Plastik: A Treehouse Store

Commissioned during the latter half of 2010, I had a lot of fun working with the client to create a gigantic tree for their retail island. Measuring over 100 meters high and 200 meters across, this gigantic structure is able to support the lanterns that house several retail departments. I created the tree itself while the merchants built everything on and around it. The 3D model at the bottom right of the image below is the original tree within Maya. This unique build was featured in Linden Lab's destination guide several times.
